Privacy Policy

dotaquiz.com is operated by Rejep Mammedov, an individual (not a registered company). This policy explains what data dotaquiz collects, why, and how you can control it. Questions go to contact@rejep.com.

• Account: username, email address, and a hashed (never plaintext) password.
• Steam login (if used): your Steam ID, persona name, and avatar, if you link a Steam account.
• Gameplay: your draft history, picks/bans, win/loss record, and any position preferences you set.
• Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe collects and stores your payment details directly — we only ever receive your subscription status and Stripe customer ID, never your card number.

dotaquiz sets one essential cookie (your login session) needed for the site to function — this doesn't require consent and can't be disabled without logging you out.

Beyond that, and only if you accept the cookie banner, we use:

• Google Analytics — usage patterns, approximate location (from IP), device/browser information.
• Yandex Metrica — similar usage analytics, and this deployment has session recording ("Webvisor") and click-map tracking enabled, meaning it can record how you move through and interact with the page.

If you reject the banner (or don't respond), neither of these load, and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind anytime — the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer resets your choice and shows the banner again.

• To run your account, drafts, and (if subscribed) your billing;
• To enforce the free-tier daily draft limit;
• To understand how dotaquiz is used, so we can improve it (only if you've accepted analytics cookies);
• To generate the optional AI draft analysis — your draft's picks/bans and the current patch are sent to Google's Gemini API for that single request; nothing else about your account is sent.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.

Only the service providers needed to run dotaquiz:

• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions;
• OpenDota — we pull public hero/matchup statistics from them; we don't send them any of your personal data;
• Google — Gemini API (AI analysis, per-request only) and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics;
• Yandex — Yandex Metrica, if you accept cookies.

Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy as an independent controller/processor for that specific purpose.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep limited billing records for legal/tax reasons.

You can access or correct most of your own data directly in the app. For anything else — a full export, deletion, or a question about what we hold on you — email contact@rejep.com and we'll handle it promptly.

dotaquiz isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

dotaquiz's servers and its service providers (Stripe, Google, Yandex) may process data outside your own country. By using dotaquiz you understand your data may be transferred and processed internationally.

We may update this policy as dotaquiz changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
